The MU Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences Society (F.A.S.S.) is a

student- led organization with approximately 25 members, and is a recognized Subunit of the

American Fisheries Society.  Our goals are:

  • To promote positive interactions between students and professionals in fisheries and other aquatics-based fields
  • To educate others of Missouri's important and unique aquatic resources
  • To provide students a chance to interact with one another at the professional, academic, and social level.
The club is open to all students within the University of Missouri who have an interest in fisheries and other aquatic resources.  Our meetings are held every other Thursday evening, at 5:30 p.m. at in Room 115 of the Anheuser-Busch Natural Resources Building.   Meetings are free to attend, but students must pay dues of $5 a semester in order to participate in Officer elections, conferences, and other club activities.
